The food was good with variety of alternatives. The superior triple room I had was clean. Location: the hotel was so close to Lompoel desert, the beach, and the local farms.

Great location just next to the beach, sand dunes, and an actual desert. Also, it's all set in a really beautiful spot with 😍 views.

We had a delightful stay at a cozy eco lodge in the desert. the tents were comfortable, with decent beds and a separate outdoor bathroom area. the staff was very attentive and made us feel welcome, even inviting us to join them for a traditional Senegalese meal. the tranquil setting and outdoor shower were highlights, and we enjoyed the drumming music session and campfire in the evening. it was a short but enjoyable desert retreat. Cons: Nothing all excellent! 👍.

The staff at the lodge were extremely attentive and made us feel very welcome. They even invited us to join them for a traditional Senegalese meal, which was amazing as vegetarians. the outdoor shower attached to our tent was a highlight, especially after sunset. the location was serene and tranquil, making it the perfect retreat. the communal area was great for relaxing, and the food at the bar/restaurant was delicious. a wonderful experience.
Felt immediately at home, nothing to complain about.

Fancy airport, lovely darts game at the hotel, woke up to continental breakfast, free shuttle service saved me walking, kids club was great fun!
Oh, I just adored feeling lost in translation with the lack of information upon arrival. So refreshing!

Stayed at Horizons Lodges for a unique desert experience in Senegal. Lovely staff welcomed us with tea and cold flannels. Delicious dinner, campfire, and drumming session in the evening. Organized a camel ride through the desert. Beautiful setting, cozy tents with cool furniture and comfy beds. Great for family photos. Food was delicious, rooms clean and cozy. Warm welcome from everyone.
100% Recommend this hotel.

The rooms are cozy and comfortable, with a private bathroom that has a refreshing shower and free toiletries. Some of the units even have a nice seating area, perfect for relaxing after a long day of exploring. As a laid-back traveler, I loved the simple yet homely feel of the rooms.
One thing I personally didn't like was that some units at the hotel also feature a seating area. It's just my opinion, though, and others might enjoy having that extra space.

Magical and serene atmosphere
During our Christmas getaway, we were pleasantly surprised by the magical atmosphere and serene surroundings of the camp. the tastefully decorated tents added to the dreamy experience, and sleeping under the stars was truly mesmerizing. the staff went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable, offering flexible check-in times and providing transportation to and from the camp.
There were a few aspects of our stay that could be improved. the lack of information about the 3km walk to the beach was disappointing, as it turned out to be a grueling trek through the desert sand, without any tree cover.
